milling industry plays a key role in converting cereals into flour, which is used for a wide range of pastries from bread to cakes and desserts. However, checking and measuring important grain and flour parameters usually takes too much time.<\/p>\n<p>Using FT-NIR spectroscopy, moisture, protein content, ash and other parameters can be accurately and reliably determined in a matter of moments, without any further modification of the samples. The Antaris II FT-NIR spectrometer is designed for measuring liquid, bulk, pasty and solid samples, and with the external measurement probe, grains and flours can even be measured directly in bags.
